Dr Thomas Oxenham is an accomplished general practitioner who works both privately at Northway Clinic, and also within the NHS at an award winning large North London practice. He has over 13 years postgraduate experience as a doctor after gaining his primary medical degree from one of world’s leading medical schools, University College London.
He chose a career in general practice following earlier postgraduate training in surgery and academic research, and has worked across a wide breath of medical specialities that equip him particularly well when working as a GP. He is fully registered on the GMC’s specialist GP Register and was awarded Membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners after completing his UK specialist training.
Dr Oxenham is passionate about practicing medicine with a holistic and personalised approach to health and wellbeing and he is particularly interested in men’s health, preventative medicine, and dermatology. He has been awarded the qualification of Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons and enjoys applying his surgical skills to perform minor surgery in a primary care environment.
Within his NHS practice, Dr Oxenham particularly enjoys medical education and not only regularly supervises and teaches trainee GPs and medical students, but also runs a weekly education programme. He regularly attends professional development events to ensure his knowledge is up to date and has published and presented his work internationally.
