Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) is inflammation of the inside of the nose caused by an allergen, such as dust, pollen, mould or flakes of skin from certain animals, which is usually seasonal. Main symptoms include itchy nose, sneezing, watery discharge, tearing up and reddened eyes. It is the most common allergic reaction.
